Seeing the other side...
I have watched films and read books, and felt sorry for characters. I have identified with them. Cried for them. Understood them and saw reflections of myself in them. But only in video games have I ever felt RESPONSIBLE for these characters. It’s an entirely different meaning. I’m no longer watching as the hero has to make a difficult decision; I am the hero and that’s way more difficult.
